A perfect trek for lovers, the great snow-covered peaks of Pitusiray and Sahuasiray are known as the “Mythic Couple,” based on a beautiful romantic legend since the time of the Incas. Mt. Pitusiray, representing the feminine, is a 4,991 m. high (16,375 ft) mountain, while Sahuasiray, representing the masculine, is 5,818 m. high (19,088 ft.).
