Our Mystic Love Story

It all began at a market in Cusco…

He was selling books on Andean history, archeology and mysticism.

When she stumbled upon his book stall, she was thrilled to discover books on the subject she had come to Peru to learn. He was thrilled that she was interested. He invited her to sit down. She was interested in meeting someone who shared her interest in the native mysticism of Peru.

When they exchanged phone numbers and agreed to arrange to meet again, her heart whispered to her bewildered mind, “Now THIS is the man you should love.”

She brushed the thought aside, thinking it was pure madness. “These are simply the strange notions you get when you’re alone in a new country,” she thought to herself.

The next day, Karupureq held his phone in his hand, contemplating what he would say to this new woman that had just waltzed into his life. Her face was uncannily familiar - he knew he had seen it before. But how could that be, when she said she had just arrived recently to Peru?

And then it came to him…

Yes, it was in a recurring dream that he had seen her face.

In his dream, her face was the face of Pachamama (the Andean word for Mother Earth or the Mother of Creation). She had reached out to him to show him something important: in her hand was her own blood, but it was black from contamination.

Tears fell from her mysterious eyes, blue and shimmering like two lakes, as she told him, “your destiny, my beloved, is to teach people to honor and love me again. I will wait for you for as long as it takes.

Meanwhile…

Flamissia was struggling with a deep and painful heartbreak. Day and night, her mind and emotions were held captive and gave her no rest. Hearing that during the festival atop the great mountain of Qoylluriti miracles were often granted to those who prayed with sincerity, she made the long climb to its dizzying heights.

All night the music and dancing continued on, and the moment the moon dipped into the west and the sun’s first rays lit the east, she offered a k’intu prayer asking for guidance.

Listening deeply, she heard the deep and stern voice of Apu Qoylluriti speaking inside her heart:

“It is a gift,” he said.

They met again at a café in town…

…and as the newly met pair shared their life stories, they felt a deep bond of friendship growing. Both had so much in common, both had been through similar experiences, both joyful and tragic.

What a surprise to discover that they both were planning a trip to the remote mountain villages of the Q’ero Nation around the same time!

Apu Huamanlipa,

one of the sacred mountains of the Q’ero Nation.

Karupureq celebrated his birthday…

with a ceremony on Apu Huamanlipa, one of the principal sacred mountains of the Q’ero people. He was praying for blessings in beginning a new life. And especially for his dream of starting a mystical tour company and Andean mystery school.

On the other side of the mountain…

Flamissia was visiting another village with a group of tourists. On a whim, she decided to obtain a guide to take her to that same mountain. She wanted to ask the Apu for help with her heartbreak.

As she knelt before the mighty peak, gleaming with its snowy glacier, she closed her eyes and asked the mountain for permission to climb. In her mind’s eye she saw the image of an ancient old man’s face smiling at her. Once part way up the steep slope, she again offered a prayer, offering her devotion and respect and asking for freedom from the pain in her heart. Immediately she felt free.

She practically flew back down the mountain for joy.

When they got back together again

…they shared photos of their trips to the Q’ero Nation. What to their amazement and surprise, they discovered that they had been on opposite sides of Apu Huamanlipa on the same day!

And now, Flamissia understood Apu Q’ollyuriti’s message.

It was a gift three times over!

She had given the gift of her devotion to Apu Huamanlipa, and the Apu had not only freed her from the heartbreak, but brought her the love of her life.

So, what do YOU believe?

Was their visit to Apu Huamanlipa on the same day a coincidence?

…Or a sign of blessing from the Divine Energy of the Cosmos?

The rest is history…
